Formed in 2002, Belfield Furnishings manufacture, wholesale and distribute upholstered furniture, soft furnishings, curtains, accessories, interiors and beds. They work with a majority of Caravan and holiday home manufacturers, and most of the UK’s leading high street retailers catering for all of their soft furnishing requirements.
Belfield Furnishing’s head office is based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This site is dedicated to manufacturing and supplying furnishings to the leisure industry, with another Ilkeston based factory dealing with contract and retail soft furnishings. There are additional sites in North Wales for retail upholstery and Castle Donnington for retail Bedding and mattresses. With a skilled workforce in excess of 1200 and with offices in China, Belfield continues to expand its business through design, quality and service.
The huge range of fabrics available are sourced throughout Europe and Asia, ensuring any finish or style is catered for. All fabrics and upholstery stringently adheres to all fire safety regulations, working closely with the fabric mills to keep up to date with any developing fire retardant technologies.
In addition to refurbishing chalets and caravans, the contract division also supply Hotels, Nursing Homes & Public/Government Sectors with furniture, curtains, divans & mattresses. Furniture is developed and built according to brief, and then altered and re-covered if changes arise. Computer aided design is also utilised to see upholstery in a range of fabrics to help visualise a range of different fabric designs. They work closely with suppliers and reaching out to new ones to ensure quality products and innovative solutions. Environmentally sustainable business is also a priority, with recycling across all sites at over 90%.
