Starting off their 50^th year in true style, Omar’s top-of-the-range models; the award winning Heritage park home and the striking Inspiration luxury lodge were a huge hit at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show last week.

The luxurious 48’ x 22’ Heritage park home on display has impressed from the start, winning the prestigious Park Home Of The Year award at its launch at The World of Park & Leisure Homes Show last year. What better park home model to take to the first show of the season in Omar’s 50^th year – and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The Heritage saw a constant flow of visitors through the door admiring the high style, seamless design and exceptional build quality of this stunning home.

First impressions count and the large extended front dormer, full drop bay windows, corner quoins and

feature composite front door with beautiful glazed side panels certainly did it’s job enticing show-goers through the doors to see the luxurious accommodation within.

particular hit with visitors to the show was the super stylish kitchen. The kitchen includes top-of-the-range appliances including a Rangemaster full range cooker with wok attachment, griddle and matching splash back and hood; a cream American fridge-freezer that even has a drinks and ice dispenser; a granite worktop and up-stand and a stylish Belfast sink. This kitchen really has the wow factor but it’s only part of what makes the Heritage an award winning home.

Other features that caused a stir included the spacious lounge with its deep plush carpets, full-length linen curtains, feature wall niches and sumptuous Regent style lounge suite; the bathroom with it’s indulgent slipper bath with freestanding waterfall tap and the bedrooms, with their elegant freestanding French style furniture and beautiful lighting.

The Freedom to Go area at the show proved to be a magnet to visitors and included a fun beach area showcasing a campervan (and huge deck chair!); a woodland area with a caravan on display; a raised mountain pass with a motorhome and of course the Omar Inspiration!

The impressive 40’ x 22’ Inspiration lodge on display with its distinctive facade featuring twin peak roofs either side of a glass atrium, along with two sets of folding doors and French doors in the centre, certainly proved to be a main attraction.

The crowds loved the hi-tech features of this lodge which include a built-in, swivel, LED TV and Blu-ray home cinema system, a CD and iPod sound system with speakers to all rooms and even a 19” waterproof TV in the bathroom! Then there’s the kitchen with its chic designer Smeg appliances including a dishwasher and washer / dryer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob and not to forget the freestanding, black, high-gloss, fridge-freezer!

The Inspiration breaks the mould in terms of interior and exterior style, setting a new standard in contemporary, chic lodge living and proved to be the perfect model to entice a new audience to the idea of lodge living.

Visitors loved the lodge; particularly the folding doors and French doors that span the open-plan living area giving a panoramic view. Show-goers were also very interested in the planning, transportation and build of the lodges, with many surprised at their durability and lifespan. It’s been a fantastic opportunity to talk to the public and explain how the lodges are made and the warranties and guarantees in place to protect their investment.”
